Background

I've worked at 2 agencies, 2 startups, 2 universities, and started a company, too. I completed a decade working with a product agency called RevUnit where I lead a team of teams totaling 20 designers. While there I developed roles, established team competencies, conducted team trainings, executed design strategy on early engagements, and, yes, I did design work myself. I enjoyed helping RevUnit grow both in depth of skill and numbers, and I'm currently looking for opportunities to do likewise with another team.

I have designed hundreds of projects and refined a multitude of processes for a broad range of companies. I have experience with 60+ enterprise and startup customers across many industries including retail, data, supply chain, and hospitality. I have a passion for excellence in design, rapid prototyping, and customer experience. I pride myself in balancing process-oriented and systems-minded design with creative execution and problem solving that is tied to business needs.

Finally, I care deeply about the teams I lead and enjoy coaching and fostering each person's potential.
